Re-analyzing the data that helped Dr. Semmelweis discover the importance of hand washing in the prevention of childbed fever.
Dr. Ignaz Semmelweis was a Hungarian physician born in 1818 and active at the Vienna General Hospital.
In the early 1840s at the Vienna General Hospital, as many as 10% of the women giving birth die from Childbed fever: A deadly disease affecting women that have just given birth.
Ignaz knows the cause of childbed fever: It's the contaminated hands of the doctors delivering the babies. And they won't listen to him and wash their hands!
In this Project, we're going to re-analyze the data that made Semmelweis suspect that something was wrong, which led him to discover the importance of hand washing.
The Data we will use in the analysis was imported and cleaned to ensure there were no irregularities.
Exploratory Data Analysis was done to get insights from the data and draw our conclusions.
Data Visualization was done using Matplotlib to show the insights gotten from the data.
